Troubleshooting — a step-by-step guide

- Having trouble downloading or installing Kryptex?
- Have you successfully installed Kryptex but struggling to pass the benchmark?
- Kryptex can’t recognize all of your graphic cards, or is it loosing some during the mining?
- Your computer freezing, slowing down, or shutting off while mining?
Rest assured, we address these common issues promptly and efficiently!
Kryptex Minimum Requirements
Kryptex needs a Windows 10-11 x64 computer with a graphics card no older than 2016, with at least 4 Gb of GDDR5 memory. Older processors and graphics cards do not support instructions that generate income in Kryptex.
Minimum required GPU for mining:
- Nvidia GTX 1060 6 Gb or better
- AMD RX 470-580 4 Gb or better
- Intel Arc A380 6 Gb or better

First to Check
- Add Kryptex to the Antivirus exclusion list:

- Update your GPU drivers: Nvidia | AMD | Intel
- Update Net.Framework libraries
- Make sure you have enough virtual memory:
Set page file size to be equal to the amount of total GPU memory of all cards combined plus 8 Gb. - Switch Kryptex to the PRO Mode
Open Kryptex Settings, switch on PRO Mode. - Re-run Kryptex benchmark
Check the Network
- Use a cable to directly connect your PC to a network.
- Try using the VPN.
- Did not help? Let’s solve your connection errors.
Configure your Motherboard BIOS
Mandatory if more than one video card is connected
- Turn on “Above 4G Decoding”
- Try setting PCI-E speed to x4 or x1
- Try setting PCI-E compatibility to Gen2 or Gen1
- Turn off the integrated GPU
- Turn on Dynamic | ReSizable BAR

Other Issues
- GPUs disappear from Kryptex app or PC switches off?
Make sure your Power Supply Unit can handle the load! - Got AMD+NVIDIA GPUs combined?
Uninstall all GPU drivers, install Nvidia GPU drivers first, then install AMD GPU drivers. Did not help? Leave GPUs of one manufacturer only. - Got Windows 10?
Make sure you have updated to 22H2 - Got Windows 11?
