How to add Kryptex to Dr.Web antivirus exclusion?

Many antivirus programs can disrupt the correct functioning of the Kryptex App. To ensure that your antivirus doesn't hinder Kryptex's operation, you should exempt Kryptex files from being scanned by the antivirus software.

Add Kryptex to Dr.Web exclusion

1. Open the Dr.Web menu and select “Security Center”. Make sure Dr.Web is running in administrator mode (the lock at the bottom of the program is open). Otherwise, click on the lock to unlock it.

2. Click on the "Exclusions" button.

   

3. Click on the "Files and Folders" button.

   

4. Next, specify the files and folders that you want to exclude from the antivirus scan:

   • C:\Program Files\Kryptex
   • %AppData%\Kryptex
   • %AppData%\Kryptex\miners
   • C:\Program Files\Kryptex\Kryptex.exe
   • C:\Program Files\Kryptex\KryptexService.exe
   • C:\Program Files\Kryptex\intelgpu-util.exe
   • C:\Program Files\Kryptex\amdgpu-util.exe

   Can’t find the AppData folder? View hidden system files and folders.

5. Click "OK" and then "OK" again to apply and save the exclusions.
