NVIDIA Quadro T1000 8GB

  • Ownership Less than a month
  • Pros: 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Has a fan.
  • Cons: Limited to 60 watts. Cannot be overclocked.
  • Commentary: Server graphics card with GDDR6 memory. Due to the limited power consumption, it has low performance like GTX 1050 - 1060. Overclocking is not supported. There is no reason to buy it.

  • Pros: GDDR6 memory, but this gives you absolutely nothing. Has a fan.
  • Cons: Limited to 60 watts. Cannot be overclocked. Only 4GB of memory.
  • Commentary: Server graphics card with GDDR6 memory. Due to the limited consumption, it has low performance like GTX 1050 - 1060. Overclocking is not supported. There is no reason to buy it.

AMD R9 NANO

  • Ownership More than a year
  • Pros: HBM memory, 2 bios, old, but still good at mining.
  • Cons: The GPU is horrible to set up, and mine on Windows, its support is over, and there are no drivers for it. The graphics card must be flashed if you want to mine on it. It is pretty old and low-performance. It only has 4 GB of memory, which means it supports very few algorithms and coins. I do not recommend buying it.
  • Commentary: The oldest graphics card that can still mine is from the end of 2015. The Ethash algorithm (ETC, UBQ, EXP) gives 26+ MH\s. KawPow (RVN) is about 14 MH\s. The Autolykos2 algorithm (ERGO) gives about 50 MH\s. So if you have such a GPU and want to bother with bios setup, firmware, or switching to Linux\Hive\Rave - you can mine. It does not make sense just to buy it for mining.

AMD RX 560 4GB

  • Ownership More than a year
  • Pros: Low price.
  • Cons: The GPU is old and not powerful. It has just 4 GB, which supports very few algorithms. Do not recommend buying.
  • Commentary: Ethash (ETHW, ETC, UBQ, EXP) algorithm gives around 11+ MH\s with overclocking of 85% Power limit; 1200-1400 Core Clock, 1700-1800 Memory Clock; 60-70% fan speed. The KawPow (RVN) algorithm gives about 9 MH\s at an 85% Power limit; a Core Clock of 1200-1400; a Memory Clock of 1700-1800, and a Fan speed of 70-80%. The Autolykos2 algorithm (ERGO) outputs about 25 MH\s with overclocking of a Power limit of 85%; a Core Clock of 1200-1400; a Memory Clock of 1700-1800, and a Fan speed of 70%.

AMD RX 550 4GB

1 year, 5 months ago
  • Ownership More than a year
  • Pros: Low price.
  • Cons: 4 GB of VRAM and low performance.
  • Commentary: It's better not to buy it for mining, only as an office solution, or for simple games. The Ethash algorithm (ETC, UBQ, EXP) yields 11+ MH\s. The KawPow (RVN) algorithm gives about 9 MH\s. The Autolykos2 algorithm (ERGO) produces about 25 MH\s. Standard overclocking settings are 1200-1400 per core, 1700-1800 memory, and PL about 85%.

AMD RX 580 4GB

1 year, 5 months ago
  • Ownership More than a year
  • Pros: In mining better than modern graphics cards like RX 5500 XT or GTX 1660. Affordable price for every beginner miner.
  • Cons: Only has 4 GB of memory, which means it supports very few algorithms and coins. A lot of power consumption and a lot of heat. The card is already old, and it is difficult to find on the secondary market in good condition.
  • Commentary: Good card for mining on algorithms with small DAG-file. Overclocking for maximum performance is standard: Core 1200-1400 / Memory 2000-2250 / PL about 70%.

AMD RX 580 8GB

1 year, 5 months ago
  • Ownership More than a year
  • Pros: 8 GB of video memory for all algorithms. Affordable price, high performance in mining and gaming.
  • Cons: Hot GPU with high power consumption. Obsolete physically, good ones are difficult to find.
  • Commentary: You can take it for mining if you can afford to pay the electricity bill for this GPU. As a training instance is more than suitable. Optimal overclocking settings: Core 1200-1400 / Memory 2000-2250 / PL 70%.
