Bitcoin trades around $600. Mining is still mostly for enthusiasts. Kryptex launches with one-click mining on Windows.
Ethereum takes off, GPUs disappear from stores, and home mining goes mainstream. Kryptex grows with it.
The market crashes and mining profitability drops with it. Kryptex keeps running and paying miners through the bear market.
DeFi summer brings GPU mining back. Kryptex launches its own Ethereum pool and quickly grows into one of the largest ETH pools.
GPU mining peaks. Cards sell out again, Ethereum profitability hits record highs, and Kryptex passes 1 million users.
Ethereum switches to Proof of Stake. Kryptex launches direct-mining pools for ETC, RVN, ERG, XMR and ETHW. Ethereum’s PoW era ends with Kryptex among the leading mining pools.
GPU miners move to Kaspa, NEXA and Iron Fish. Kryptex launches its Telegram bot and reaches 2 million users.
The Bitcoin halving changes ASIC mining economics. Kryptex launches Bitcoin and Litecoin pools, expands into ASIC mining, and becomes the #1 Fractal Bitcoin pool.
Bitcoin hits new all-time highs. Kryptex releases Miner V5, custom ASIC firmware and ASIC Manager.
GPU profitability returns. Kryptex launches Krig, its own CLI miner, supports 30+ coins across GPU, CPU and ASIC mining — and turns 10.

Kryptex turns 10.
We started in 2016 with a Windows app that made mining easier. A lot has changed since then: GPU shortages, bull markets, crypto winters, The Merge, new coins, new hardware, and ASIC mining.
Kryptex changed too. What started as a mining app now includes our own pools, miners, firmware, and tools.
Some of you have been with us since the first versions. Others joined during the Ethereum years, came for Kaspa, Bitcoin, Fractal Bitcoin or Pearl, or started mining only recently.
Over the years, you've tested releases, reported bugs, asked for features, recommended Kryptex to other miners, and told us when we got something wrong.
