Use the curve editor and set all the points to be aligned with the first one (something like 1365MHz/700mV), it won't decrease the gains but it will decrease the power/temperature enormously.
To increase the gains, increase the memory frequency, some memories can go up to 1300MHz (maybe even more if you are really lucky) while some can't even do +800 so, try and see.
